
The National Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Excelsior on certificate programs to give you the entrepreneurial and leadership skills you need as a business owner and start you on your path toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Excelsior has bundled four courses at the undergraduate level and three courses at the graduate level. The NPR Chamber will award the certificate upon completion of the required courses. The courses in the certificate programs align with Excelsior undergraduate or graduate programs, creating a seamless pathway to degree completion.
Employees of NPR Chamber member organizations are eligible for up to a 20% tuition discount on the undergraduate certificate and up to a 15% tuition discount on the graduate certificate.
NPR Chamber Leadership Certificates
The National Puerto Rican Chamber Leadership Certificate (Mid-Management)
4 courses/12 credits toward a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business and Management
Two core courses required:
IND 101/301 (as applicable)
Cornerstone A: Foundations/Cornerstone B: Pathways
BUS 312 Managing Human Resources
Select two of these five courses:
- ACC 211 Financial Accounting
- BUS 341 Management Concepts and Applications
- BUS 351 Marketing Concepts and Application
- BUS 435 International Business
- BUS 452 Business Leadership
The National Puerto Rican Chamber Certificate in Organizational Leadership (Upper Management)
3 courses/9 credits toward a Master of Business Administration or Master of Science in Management
One core course required: BUS 501 Business Communications
Select two of these four courses:
- BUS 502 Global Business Environment
- BUS 504 Human Resource Management
- BUS 530 Project Management Principles and Application
- BUS 554 Change Management
Certificates will be awarded by The National Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce upon completion of the required courses, and each certificate aligns with an Excelsior undergraduate or graduate degree program, creating a seamless pathway if the ultimate educational goal is degree completion.
